Can someone tell me if there really are different versions called Monsterhunt503?

Standards. UT needs them if it is to stay relevant.

I just know there's the MH mod version 5.00, then that patch which is missing a music file named Gomorra.umx, but usually you won't need it since it was required just for a monster arena map. No clue about any other different versions. :?

YES, there are more 503-s and only one is public. WHY ? Because Original public version cannot be used for working at different MH tools due to errors deliberated created in Original MH for protection purpose. Soon Shrimp has been noticed about his manure coded and released a public source-code (which is still originally available) to be compiled in order to compile/write MH mutators and mods, else nobody can do any MH mutator or mod, only if is able to create a place-holder for MonsterHunt.u file that needs to be mentioned in dependencies list. As result, you can see some clear MH versions without integrated errors. My MonsterSeeker and UTSeeker were playertools coded in purpose to prevent mismatching because they contains integrated a separate MH browser and not only for MonsterHunt. As long as MonsterHunt.u file not exist in client only in cache, you can play even in 10 servers with private better versions.
