This isn't the final version. I'm getting some folks to help me with a few things in Hermskii's forum.

A few things:
M16 - While it sits a little oddly in player's hands, can't tell in the HUD, this is by far my favorite version of this weapon I've seen in UT. Minus the one that comes with the Infiltration mutator, anyway.

BlueBaller - If anyone ever made the instagib into an uzi, this is pretty close to what it would be. It's not quite that powerful but it's pretty close. I think the 1 thing that will keep players from primarily using this is that you usually can't see anything when you're shooting it. The muzzle flash is extreme... but it's still good for clearing a path when you're nearly overrun.

GreenieGun - This is basically just the ripper with cute things mapped over the projectiles. No visible weapon in the HUD, alt fire is a lot stronger than the ripper's alt.

I placed a redeemer directly behind the cabin. Seemed like a good idea, as that's often the fallback position.

Pretty cool, Ray.
I need to play it thru.
I think the version you're working with was Hitman's modified version.
Ya might want to start with THUNDERBOLT's original version.
He does have an account here but I don't think Fuzz Ball's Forums are "cool" enough for him to visit anymore. :(

There's active threads for this on Hermskii's forum and ut99.org, already heard back from Hitman & Thunderbolt. They've both given their permission.

Mostly been working with Nelsona, other guy named Red_Fist has had some good stuff too, ideas from higor.

It's shaping up well, some conflicted points. Beginning to think this project may result in more than one map.

What I originally hoped would be a well pathed map has resulted in 3 well pathed maps; kept them all as they're very much different levels of play. Both edits of my edit done by Nelsona, and Red_Mist's 1 edit of my edit. Actually, the one thing that has stymied much furher development on my part is I keep playing them, and making mild little adjustments.

Given the Mini·Warlords don't leave a corpse, I swapped their skin with the one I used for the uber·powerful Warlords on a deathmatch map I edited a stretch back.

Haven't heard from Nelsona & Red_Mist since, they may be doing further edits to what they have... or not. In any event, when all is said and done, I'll release all maps in 1 .zip, everybody credited for what they did.

Higor's idea to make some of the trees solid might work well for a side request. Hook wanted a conversion of the map for Deathmatches. I'm going to do a rough edit on that later this week.

Remember, there is a DM map called "DM-DarkForest" already so name it carefully.

Just an LOL ...
It is Funny when Players are being harassed when playing the original DM-DarkForest by those horrible Dragonflies LOL
When I am playing that map with players that are new to that map I always post ...
"Advice: Do NOT piss off the dragonflies! - You WILL be sorry!" :lol:

Oh yeah, the animals in some maps can be very funny to watch also! :P

Plan to title it DM-EG-DarkForest for my edit.

Same as with the Mantas, but that's why it's good to play with bots. Manta or Fly is coming after me, if I run passed a bot they ignore me and go after the bot.

Yep, that's a totally different map but a great DM for redeemers!
The trees are tall and you can teleport into the branches.
I'm not sure if TBolt made a DM version of his DarkForest.

Haven't been on here in over a month and no new posts? Wow!

Anywho, I'm about done editing versions of DarkForest for MH. Now I'm just setting them up for downloads.
