I've been trying to make a downloads section for the site and keep running into obstacles.
The latest is when uploading files, the
timestamps are changed to whatever the upload date is.
My ftp client has a "keep timestamp" option but it won't work if the service provider doesn't support
MFMT.
So I did some research and it turns out that they do NOT support MFMT.
What a bunch of losers.
I'm using Filezilla and have yet to try other ftp methods.
Is this timestamp limitation a problem of all ftp clients or the server?
I do not want to upload files that are "date dependant" if the modified dates are going to be altered.
I'm also not a big fan of installing stuff only to find out it doesn't work either.
Time is precious and computers SUCK hours out of our lives as it is!
Is it at all possible to preserve files' timestamps if one's server doen't support MFMT?HMMMPHHHH!!! Damn computers.
