It's the changing of the guard...a new sheriff in town.
I'm just glad to see something new and positive.
Good job Fuzz_Ball.

OK - Atachment restrictions has been taken care of.

I've been told some users aren't able to register - you will receive an email with a link you need to click on in order to complete registration.
This keeps a FEW bots away, but not all. Check your Junk Mail folder!

My approach at this moment is to start with everything locked down and gradually open things up.

Still on the burners: PMs, a MAIN PAGE and trying to figure out how to post some of the tutorials I have online (other than as downloads).

Holy COW, so many things to still do.
Things that are in the works:

* Upgrade to the most recent Forum system.
* Add a user gallery (for posting pics).
* Add a Shout Box!
* Topic Text Preview (on mouseover).
* Oh yeah and open up the email / PM system.
* Get Google bots, etc under control.

This is slow going since my current job is working me 6 days a week and it's a longer than average commute.
It's good to have income, however.
There are also many new maps to add and some to remove or update.
As of today, Gametracker ranks Fuzz_Ball's Funhouse UMH at 66!
Thanks everyone for your continued support: SciFy, POTS and WarMaster and everyone who plays!

OH boy!
Finally, A TWO DAY WEEKEND!
With a little luck (hoping nothing around the house breaks), work on the forum and game server will continue!

Hey Hobs!
Nice to see you here.
Why not be the first to post in the Snipers section and tell us about FEAR Snipers?
Thanks for dropping in! . . . . . . . . . . . :snipe1:

I've been trying to make a downloads section for the site and keep running into obstacles.
The latest is when uploading files, the timestamps are changed to whatever the upload date is.
My ftp client has a "keep timestamp" option but it won't work if the service provider doesn't support MFMT.
So I did some research and it turns out that they do NOT support MFMT.
What a bunch of losers.

I'm using Filezilla and have yet to try other ftp methods.
Is this timestamp limitation a problem of all ftp clients or the server?

I do not want to upload files that are "date dependant" if the modified dates are going to be altered.
I'm also not a big fan of installing stuff only to find out it doesn't work either.
Time is precious and computers SUCK hours out of our lives as it is!

Is it at all possible to preserve files' timestamps if one's server doen't support MFMT?
HMMMPHHHH!!! Damn computers. :?
