Jack Klugman
Klugman died Monday at age 90 in suburban Northridge with his wife at his side.
The cause of Klugman's death was not immediately known.
Adam Klugman said his father had been slowing down in recent years, but wasn't battling cancer, which robbed him of his voice in the 1980s.
Klugman taught himself to speak again, and kept working.
His sons called on his fans to embrace their father's tenacious and positive spirit.

The "Odd Couple," which ran from 1970 to 1975, was based on Neil Simon's play about mismatched roommates - divorced New Yorkers who end up living together.
The comedy came from their opposite personalities - Klugman playing a writer whose sloppiness consistently irritated the Randall's fussy photographer character.
The pairing was so good, the show didn't need constant help from the writers.

Quincy, M.E.," which ran from 1976 to 1983, Klugman played an idealistic, tough-minded medical examiner who tussled with his boss by uncovering evidence of murder in cases where others saw natural causes.

Norman used to be my boss when I was in the Army (way up the CoC, not directly I mean). He was a good guy by all accounts.

Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, a towering figure in postwar British and world
politics and the only woman to become British prime minister, has died at the age of 87. She
suffered from a stroke on Monday.

“We've beaten the Germans twice and now they're back!”
Margaret Thatcher (1989)

“Margaret Thatcher always gave me headaches”
Helmut Kohl

The “Iron Lady” has never seen an institution she doesn't want to bash with her handbag,
& she was one of the “most ardent supporters” of Germany’s reunification.
Bye Maggie!

In memory of BrattZilla_{HoF}

I only knew Brat casually but always had a good time on the HoF server with her.
My deepest sympathies go out to her family and the Hof Family.

Life can kick you in the teeth when you least expect it.

Be good to one another.

Yes, I saw that - Her and I have met in the past, and it is always a shock to hear this - it is devastating.
I understand that she passed away because of complications from the flu.

I am pretty sure she was a member of my forum, or maybe an earlier rendition of it.
I know she appeared on my servers over the years here and there.
I have not seen her for quite a while, although I have seen her online here and there.
Here's to Brattzilla! - Until we meet again! :|

RIP Bratt
